2025 Spring Competitive Soccer

Our Competitive Spring program, starting in January 2025, offers a place for U8 through U19 players.

The season consists of 8 games played across the state, both at home and away, scheduled on weekends from April to June. Our season begins indoors at LongPlex Family & Sports Center in January, and we transition to two weekday outdoor practices at Wyatt Rd. in mid-march.

April marks the start of the Super Liga season. The Season concludes mid-June.

Join us for a challenging and exciting season of soccer. Our Spring Competitive Travel Soccer program provides an opportunity for committed players to take their skills to the next level.

Age eligibility:

Birth years 2017 & 2018: Under 8

Birth years 2015 & 2016: Under 10

Birth years 2013 & 2014: Under 12

Birth years 2011 & 2012: Under 14

Birth years 2009 & 2010: Under 16

Birth years 2006, 2007 & 2008: Under 19

2024/25 Full-Year Competitive Travel

Welcome to the MYSC Full Year Youth Soccer Program.

We are excited to announce the inaugural season of our most competitive youth soccer program, tailored for players who are eager to challenge themselves and grow their skills. The season kicks off in late August 2024 and runs through mid-June 2025, offering an extensive period of development and competition.

Our full-year teams will compete in the top divisions of the Rhode Island Superliga, ensuring high-level play and the opportunity to face the best teams in the state. Due to the competitive nature of this program, roster spots are limited and will be determined by players' soccer experience, talent, and performance in tryouts.

We focus on roster continuity to ensure player growth and experience. Our primary age groups are Under 10 through Under 12, with opportunities for older age groups whenever possible. This program aims to lay a strong foundation and provide the preparation needed for success in high school soccer.

We expect a high level of commitment from all participants to foster a dedicated and cohesive team environment. Join us for an exciting year of growth, teamwork, and competitive soccer!

Age eligibility*:

Under 10 – Players born 2015 & 2016.

Under 12 – Players born 2013 & 2014.

Our Soccer program is booming and we're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals who are ready to coach our amazing young players. Whether you are a seasoned Soccer pro or new to the game, our dedicated staff is here to guide you all the way.

At MYSC, we prioritize fun, growth, and teamwork above all else. We firmly believe that every child's experience, both on and off the field, is what truly matters.

As an all-volunteer organization, MYSC relies on the dedication of our members.

Player Skill Identification

At MYSC, we welcome all players, regardless of their skill level or experience. Identifying player skills enables the creation of homogeneous rosters, ensuring equal playing time and enjoyment for all. PSI will be held at Wyatt Field and include a timed Speed, Agility, and Dribble course followed by a small-sided scrimmage. To participate, players must be registered 2 hours before the designated try-out time on the day of their age group skill assessment.

Additional Anticiapted Costs:

In addition to the registration fee, please consider three additional costs not included with player registration:

Uniforms: Every player will need a Royal Blue Home Jersey, a White Away Jersey, Royal Blue Adidas Tiro 23 Shorts, and Royal Blue Adidas Socks. If your child played competitive spring or fall soccer in 2023 or 2024, your child already has our latest uniform and will not need to purchase a new one for the season.

Equipment: Players need soccer cleats or athletic sneakers and shin guards. Football or baseball-style cleats are not permitted.
